This strip features a water-based stearate coating to resist clogging and loading while you're sanding and its fiber reinforced, latex saturated back results in a 50 to 60% improvement in tear strength. Stick this file strip on a sanding board for moderate material removal on painted surfaces, plastics, soft metals like brass and bronze, hard and soft carbon steels and any material that tends to load.
