It bonds on a variety of substrates ranging from metals, composite and many plastics including nylon. The non-sag formula creates rigid adhesion. The acrylic adhesive cures to a tan or black color. With a mix ratio is 1:1, 3M™ Scotch-Weld™ low odor acrylic adhesive DP810NS provides a 10 min work life to allow time to adjust fit prior to setting. The adhesive reaches handling strength in approximately 20 min and is fully cured in 8 to 24 hr (at 72 deg F/22 deg C). 3M™ Scotch-Weld™ low odor acrylic adhesive DP810NS is approved under UL 746C, polymeric materials use in electrical equipment. Acrylic adhesives, often referred to as epoxy adhesives or epoxy glue, are 2-part adhesives that provide excellent bond strength and durability, although slightly lower adhesion than 2-part epoxy in some situations.
