These particulate filters are both flame and water resistant. The D3078 particulate filter may be used in a variety of industries such as metalworking, grinding, sanding and welding. Common uses of D3078 particulate filters include metal fumes produced from welding, brazing, cutting and other operations involving heating of metals. In addition, solids such as those from processing minerals, coal, iron ore, cotton, flour and certain other substances. It may also be used for liquid or oil based particles from sprays that do not also emit harmful vapors.
